Jacob sheep by eilu1183
Jacob sheep
The Jacob sheep is an ancient breed not much used for commercial farming, though the wool is sometimes harvested for traditional artisanal craft (hand-spinning, felting.)

The sheep is white with black/brown markings. There is no wool on the head and legs. Males can have anywhere from 2-6 horns. They have fat, medium-length tails (up to their hocks,) pointing towards a mid-East origin. They are slightly smaller than the typical sheep. Because of their unique appearance, Jacob sheep are usually found in hobby farms and parks.

The name is derived from their mythical origin. People believed the sheep came from the speckled and spotted sheep Laban gave Jacob in the bible.

For some reason I can't seem to stop making these. I'm really comfortable with this articular style and really enjoy this. This series has been oddly cathartic in a way I can't explain.

Anyway, here's a listing of every piece in the series to date, in the order they were made (and submitted):

Waiting
The Rider
Break Free
Weary
Reach
Search
Anguish
Beseech
Martial Arts
Meditate
Bow

The Lovers
Dance
Dante
Crouch
Herald
Guitarist
