A set of 12 fur texture brushes for use with the GIMP. Best if used with color from gradient & with opacity set to 40-60%. These brushes can also be used to render grass or similar textures.

No need to tell me if you use it; fav or comments appreciated, particularly if you download. Also, if you post your art work on dA, please provide a link so others can also find/access this resource.

To Install: unzip file contents to brushes folder

For some reason all the GIMP Brushes are ZIPs and those files don't work when I put them on the brushes file..

Am I doing something wrong? I just copy the downloaded brushes onto the brushes file then refresh my program.. not there.

I apparently have 70 or more deviations, but most of them are just doodles and bits in my scraps..

I TAKE REQUEST, ART TRADES AND ALL THAT FOR FREE. :D
unless you seriously want to give me something in return. But it's not even necessary.

You use an app like 7zip to unzip the file. The stuff inside the file are the brushes.
zip file = suitcase. You need to open the suitcase and get the stuff out.

color change works via the "Use color from gradient" option. For a flat (rather than shaded effect), use the same two colors. I find it works best if you use two colors, or gray/black and a color.
